Touché El Douché

Ted L. Dewshay was born in a small wood cabin (twice) in a time when such achievements were not taken lightly, but orally.  Taken to the streets rather than be from them, the vistas widened as L-Dew grew out of a desperate need to age, each year giving himself a sillier nickname.  Seventy two hundred thirty million years later, and just when you thought it was safe to go surfing on a black hole, the remains of this man, who crawled through space to get there, are re-assembled through the cosmos as audio wave forms, and when the head-hurtingly loud pierce screams are re-interpreted by our conscience here in what we jokingly call 'modern day,' it sounds less like a Throbbing Gristle outtake and more like three guys talking about movies and politics.  Key word: 'like.'

TED No Show 6 - Merry Belated Christmas

Released on Sunday, December 27th 2015 @ 11:42AM

So did you really think you were going to get a new show a week after Christmas? Y’did? Well, think of this as Thanksgiving left-overs; still good, despite not being new. We hear from Shawn, Trevor AND Jimie this time. There’s movie talk, Shawn getting high that one time, and the gang listen to the stand-up of Rocco, a guy they’re currently at war with.

TED Episode 65 - Podcast Wars 2: Attacking The Jabrones

Released on Sunday, December 20th 2015 @ 12:05PM

It’s the first of many podcasts where Trevor and Shawn are in the same room, as Trevor has finally made the move to Atlanta. They talk a little bit about that and also their anticipation for seeing Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. Although, the majority of the show is spent breaking down the response from The Vaglica Show, a podcast hosted by two Long Island white trash cousins named Rocco. That’s right. TED is at war with a Tim & Eric sketch.

TED Episode 64 - Vag Lives Matter

Released on Sunday, December 13th 2015 @ 7:30PM

Jimie joins Trevor and Shawn on this week’s podcast, which incidentally is Trevor’s last show before moving to Atlanta. The gang talk about getting caught eating , and starting a podcast war with an unfunny comic named Vaglica. After the break, Jimie gets racial (he is Professor Racism after all) about the group Black Lives Matter, who he believes is making black folks look bad. Shawn disagrees and the two debate seriously while Trevor plays goofy sound effects.

TED Episode 63 - Han Shot Only

Released on Sunday, December 6th 2015 @ 12:50PM

Joke thievery and freedom of speech are common topics on this show, and this week’s podcast is no exception. The gang discuss Conan O’Brien’s recent joke stealing accusation as well as Hillary Clinton’s visit to The Laugh Factory. And then, before getting into Trevor’s move to Georgia, like they promised us before going to break, the guys take way too long to talk about how George Lucas is an idiot, yet The Force Awakens is gonna be just awesome, you guys.

TED Episode 62 - Road TED

Released on Sunday, November 29th 2015 @ 2:53PM

On the road again. Shawn can’t wait to get on the road again. This week’s show was recorded the day before Thanksgiving and Shawn was coming back to Sarasota from Atlanta. Trevor and Jimie (aka Professor Racism), calling in from Detroit, maintain a conversation with Shawn via Skype connection to his new fancy car. Topics discussed are wide, from Atheism to Ronda Rousey, even when Shawn’s connection goes out when he hits rural Georgia. #Yallcomebacknowyahear

TED No Show 5 - Thanks For Giving Nothing

Released on Sunday, November 22nd 2015 @ 1:22PM

Trevor and Shawn have so much to be thankful for that they couldn’t even make a podcast this holiday week. So it’s time for a No Show! In this thankless episode, Shawn and Trevor go after One Million Moms (again) and try to find their former radio boss online, Also, they play Trevor’s Prince vs. Michael Jackson mash-up, ‘Come On Thriller Baby.’

TED Episode 61 - Fuck You, Comcast!

Released on Sunday, November 15th 2015 @ 12:33PM

It’s difficult to say for sure what it is that Comcast personally has against Shawn, but it’s clear there’s definitely a vendetta. Shawn is a fancy man with expensive tastes who spends top dollar to get the most from his internet experience. Comcast, however, didn’t receive the memo.... because it was emailed. Shawn and Trevor discuss a variety of things, including their problem with two guys named Rod, but Shawn’s Skype connection stinks throughout the show and it’s because Comcast wishes him dead.

TED Episode 60 - You're A Great Crowd

Released on Sunday, November 8th 2015 @ 11:53AM

“Too soon?” “Ladies, am I right?” “This guy knows what I’m talking about.” Those are quotes, but here are some numbers. Out of 60 episodes of TED, Trevor has mentioned that he’s a comic in 59 of them, but it wasn’t until now that we have any proof of it. Finally getting into the tourist attraction that is his local comedy club’s open mic, Trevor records his set and plays it for Jimie and Shawn. Special guest: audience member Rod.

TED Episode 59 - The Olive Garden Has Mob Ties

Released on Sunday, November 1st 2015 @ 10:49AM

This week’s episode is full of close friends telling untold stories. Shawn and Trevor are joined again by their friend and TED regular Jimie (aka Professor Racism) as the trio regale all and sundry with stories of youthful destruction and run-ins with the law. Also, Shawn learns what it means to ‘songify the news’ with his first exposure to Antoine Dodson and Sweet Brown. Someone should songify this description, because baby, it sings!

TED Episode 58 - Back to the Future Day

Released on Monday, October 26th 2015 @ 11:14AM

October 21, 2015 was when this week’s episode was recorded, and it was also Back to the Future Day. Since Shawn and Trevor always talk about Back to the Future and are giant fans of the entire trilogy, you can bet what this podcast is all about. Yes, you guessed it: the new Star Wars trailer. Just kidding, there was a lot of talk about BTTF, and then little matter of Amy Schumer’s alleged joke theft. Also, today is Trevor’s birthday.
