Touché El Douché

Ted L. Dewshay was born in a small wood cabin (twice) in a time when such achievements were not taken lightly, but orally.  Taken to the streets rather than be from them, the vistas widened as L-Dew grew out of a desperate need to age, each year giving himself a sillier nickname.  Seventy two hundred thirty million years later, and just when you thought it was safe to go surfing on a black hole, the remains of this man, who crawled through space to get there, are re-assembled through the cosmos as audio wave forms, and when the head-hurtingly loud pierce screams are re-interpreted by our conscience here in what we jokingly call 'modern day,' it sounds less like a Throbbing Gristle outtake and more like three guys talking about movies and politics.  Key word: 'like.'

TED Episode 80 - Happy Mother's Day

Released on Sunday, May 8th 2016 @ 5:53PM

The guys are in a new studio... sort of, and it's jarring. So, they jar pickles. They discuss their mothers, read a letter from a mutual mother figure who's worried about Shawn not praying and then after the break, Shawn and Trevor talk about games they invented as kids. This is the beginning of The McMoneys vs. The Adventure Boys.

TED Episode 79 - Could You Be The Most Biggest Star In The World?

Released on Sunday, May 1st 2016 @ 4:07AM

Shawn had a bad interview for the remake of ‘Jacob’s Ladder,’ while Trevor has been put through hell at the Georgia DMV just trying to get a license. The duo play Prince music while waxing pathetic about Shawn’s new shell of a proton pack, Kanye and Kim vs. Jay Z and Beyoncé, Ringo Starr’s ‘admitting’ that Paul really is dead, and the new tablet Shawn got for Trevor, who will need it for future graphic arts work.

TED Episode 78 - Thanks, Larry

Released on Sunday, April 24th 2016 @ 6:51PM

Shawn and Trevor recorded this episode before Prince died. Next week’s show will be more about the man and his music and how 2016 is morally determined to kill every one who’s good and no one that stinks (like Trump). Shawn and Trevor talk about a lot of stuff, and sort of put to bed a rivalry that Shawn’s had with an FX artist who has many years experience in the industry and no experience with social norms or jokes.

TED Episode 77 - Your Face Is Poop

Released on Sunday, April 17th 2016 @ 9:36AM

Shawn eats a hamburger while talking about his trip to DC which included the International Spy Museum. Other topics, before Jimie called, were Joseph Gordon-Levitt, The Cosby Show vs. Alf and Trevor’s wigger phase. Then Prof. Racism calls and drops a bomb with the news that he is going to vote for Trump. The rest of the show is Trevor and Shawn trying to clear out the wreckage.

TED No Show 8 - If You Ever Change Your Mind

Released on Sunday, April 10th 2016 @ 10:14AM

Well folks, Shawn’s in DC with his wife this week, so Trevor attempts to get Jimie on the phone, but Jimie has other plans too. We only get him for ten minutes, where he and Trevor talk about Straight Outta Compton and John Cleese. Then, Trevor pulls a show out of his ass. Or rather, the TED Archives. An episode numbered 00 and named ‘The Watergate Tapes’ that was made during the long 2 1/2 year (then only 1 year) hiatus between episodes 32 (Narc of the Covenant) and 33 (The Wrath of Kane).

TED Episode 76 - Leonard Cohen is King of the Fuck Song

Released on Sunday, April 3rd 2016 @ 2:12PM

So Shawn and Trevor went to go see Batman vs. Soup: Dawn of Dishsoap, but the review they filmed didn’t get finished due to technical difficulties, so the boys, along with Jimie, reviewed it in their usual fashion: negatively. Also, Shawn bestows Trevor with a wonderful gift of an actual animation drawing from Ren and Stimpy, the episode ‘Big Baby Scam’ and Trevor suspects it’s a fake. That’s because he’s an ungrateful eeediot.

TED Episode 75 - Black Is the Color of My Big Fake Nose

Released on Sunday, March 27th 2016 @ 5:17AM

Shawn, Trevor and Jimie are at it again, talking about race. This time, about the latest uproar over Zoe Saldana’s prosthetic nose and skin-darkening make-up used to portray Nina Simone in a biopic. Then they spend way too long talking about screenplays they’d written and Jimie’s old vampire script. Also, Shawn and Trevor talk about getting to see Batman V Superman while Jimie shits on their dreams.

TED Episode 74 - Internet Radio Nitwit

Released on Sunday, March 20th 2016 @ 2:37AM

The boys got a late start on this one, so late that Jimie couldn’t be on. Too bad, because Shawn learned that fellow podcaster Rocco Vaglica is a racist, and Jimie, being both black and the show’s authority on racism, would’ve had plenty to say. But since that didn’t happen, Trevor and Shawn were on their own, and Trevor talked about Mike Peter’s weirdness regarding this show leaving his internet radio station (IRN). And if that wasn’t enough talking about people who you don’t work with anymore, the two went a little more in detail about Janine and Matthew’s departure from Ferris Wheelhouse.
