Touché El Douché

Ted L. Dewshay was born in a small wood cabin (twice) in a time when such achievements were not taken lightly, but orally.  Taken to the streets rather than be from them, the vistas widened as L-Dew grew out of a desperate need to age, each year giving himself a sillier nickname.  Seventy two hundred thirty million years later, and just when you thought it was safe to go surfing on a black hole, the remains of this man, who crawled through space to get there, are re-assembled through the cosmos as audio wave forms, and when the head-hurtingly loud pierce screams are re-interpreted by our conscience here in what we jokingly call 'modern day,' it sounds less like a Throbbing Gristle outtake and more like three guys talking about movies and politics.  Key word: 'like.'

TED No Show 11 - Put A Clown Nose On It

Released on Wednesday, February 8th 2017 @ 2:39PM

For any of you nostalgic for the Obama Administration, this week’s show was recorded some time back in those days... probably in the fall of last year. But what did Shawn, Trevor and Jimie discuss? Nothing, unless you count pan handling, Jimie’s grandmother's antics, suicide stories, cop stories, parental advisory with music and movies, that movie they made, ‘The Process,’ and Trevor’s glorified panhandling side business for sharpening his comedic jabs: Yucks 4 Bucks.

TED Episode 112 - A Sticky Situation

Released on Wednesday, February 1st 2017 @ 3:58PM

Shawn and Jimie are at it again, discussing (albeit heatedly) the negative reaction to Donald Trump’s presidency. Trevor is also there. Later, the gang talk about The Vaglica Show when Trevor plays a clip of him calling in as The Ghost of Orson Welles. This leads in to Jimie talking about the drinking problems of a woman he’s apparently not fucking.

TED Episode 111 - Conway Or The Highway

Released on Thursday, January 26th 2017 @ 11:28AM

So what we were late. You act like things are normal. This isn’t a show with tons of fans, ya know. There’s no demand. We are Touché El Douché, the podcast that dictates, takes notes and then gets in trouble for passing them during Home Ec. On this show, Trevor, Shawn and Jimie wax interesting about the first week of Trump’s presidency and the finer points of Westworld. Then Jimie bails during break to fuck a drunk white bitch. Too bad it wasn’t Kelly Conway, that would’ve been a great, if not awkward, interview.

TED Episode 110 - Bette Midler Isn't A Whore

Released on Wednesday, January 18th 2017 @ 1:00PM

Shorty, Blackie and Tits are back and enjoying their last week as Americans under the Obama Administration. This leads to more discussion about successful cartoonists’ integrity, the movie ‘Bobby,’ Meryl Streep, the process of filmmaking and the JFK assassination. After the break, they talk about Trevor’s fight with his dad over the holiday, Mark Hamill’s Joker reading Donald Trump’s tweets and how the walls of sanity are crashing down around Shelley Duvall, who in a recent interview rambles about several disconnected things from Bette Midler to the band Chicago.

TED Episode 109 - Bye, Leishia!

Released on Wednesday, January 11th 2017 @ 11:53AM

Well hello, 2017. I’m Touché El Douché, my friends call me Ted, and the guys that host me are back for another year after taking off for the holidays. Shawn and Jimie had a good time, but Trevor however, did not. They spend some time talking about President Trump, but then get into Trevor’s holiday where he confessed his love for The Lovely Leishia. He also learns what everyone already knows about him, that he’s a giant ass hat.

TED - Best of 2016

Released on Friday, January 6th 2017 @ 1:23PM

It was a hell of a year, and while it killed hope for many, this podcast grew in ways that you can only understand if you listened. And if you didn't, consider this a Cliff-Notes version of the last year. Or just consider it.

TED Episode 108 - Buster's Last Stand

Released on Wednesday, December 21st 2016 @ 9:56AM

Jimie's sick and Buster's going back to England. Also, it's Christmas.

TED Episode 107 - Beyond Mansplanation

Released on Wednesday, December 14th 2016 @ 1:09PM

The internet is awash with SJWs, and the latest craze in that circle, from the female side at most, is ‘mansplaning.’ Shawn has a discussion on Reddit with a woman who accuses men of this, and he explains how mansplaining isn‘t a thing. This leads to a discussion about the liberties that a lot of women take and we hear from regular TED listener, the Lovely Leishia, herself a woman of great liberty.

TED Episode 106 - Porridge

Released on Wednesday, December 7th 2016 @ 1:41PM

This week’s episode of the show is different than the usual only because it is sponsored by the National Porridge Board. Porridge is great, you know. I wish I didn’t have to write this so I could eat more porridge. We're on to a different paragraph now, and that should distract you from the fact that you’re not eating porridge, but it ain’t working on me, you guys. I’m gonna make some porridge right now. Porridge, porridge, porridge, porridge. Porridge. Oh damn, all we have is oatmeal.

TED Episode 105 - Old And Gray Pride Parade

Released on Wednesday, November 30th 2016 @ 8:38PM

Old people. What’s their deal, as Seinfeld would say. Well, it’s death, really, and the whole waiting for it thing. And death is all over this week’s podcast, folks. Shawn may as well be dead, with no voice from being sick since the weekend he only shows up via a phone call, Uncle Buster loses the ability to sit up for the show and Jimie’s grandmother is and has pissed herself. Also, there is a LITERAL tornado outside the whole time. And yet still, Jimie and Trevor podcast. They’re the sick ones, really.
